ABOUT ME

Debra is an engaging speaker, best-selling author, workshop and retreat leader, as well as The Mental Wellness Coach For Christians. With a profound commitment to mental health and Christian faith, she passionately addresses challenging subjects such as anxiety, depression, suicide ideation, the inner critic, and spiritual growth by blending academic knowledge with personal insights that resonate deeply with both secular and non-secular audiences.

Renowned for her "three R’s" – Real, Raw, and Relatable – Debra has shared the stage with notable figures like Jack Canfield, co-creator of the #1 NY Times Bestseller "Chicken Soup for the Soul®," and James Malinchak from ABC’s "Secret Millionaire."

From her book, speeches, courses, and retreats to workshops and coaching sessions, Debra equips individuals and groups with tools and strategies to eradicate depression, negative ruminating thoughts and limiting beliefs, while fostering healing, growth, resilience, and inner peace.

Devoted to serving others, Debra has crafted and executed programs for schools, businesses, youth organizations, and churches. Before focusing on her career as a certified coach, author, and speaker, she founded and served as the Executive Director of a non-profit organization for single parents, led a national divorce program, and co-founded a self-esteem and empowerment summer camp for tweens and teens. This combination allows others to effortlessly trust and find comfort in her coaching and teachings.

After being a stay-at-home mom for years, Debra faced the painful experience of a blindside divorce. She unapologetically shares her emotional rollercoaster of successes and failures, both in personal and professional realms, with the intent to inspire, uplift, and others. Her mission is to impart lessons helping others escape the torment of mental anguish, ruminating thoughts and unhealthy emotions.
